It can help with
Acupuncture balances the gut-brain axis and the nervous system to reduce stress, which improves your digestive function.
Chinese medicine can offer a full set of tools to help you when you have been diagnosed with depressive disorder and are embarking on one of the most difficult journeys of your life.
Pain is a messenger. Insertion of acupuncture needles signal the brain to release chemicals such as endorphins, norepinephrine, and enkephalin – the body’s natural painkillers. However, is essential to address the underlying physical and emotional causes for pain as it is the body’s alarm signal.
Acupuncture can improve your weight control strategy by curbing appetite, decreasing cravings, increasing metabolism, improving digestion and regulating hormones. It will bring tremendous benefit to include both Western and Eastern-trained practitioners. Together we can optimize your preventive and therapeutic health care plan.
Chinese medicine is particularly effective for treating the emotional and physical forces that influence the harmony of a woman’s cycle, PMS, menopausal symptoms, and fertility.
Regular acupuncture sessions targeted to address your specific diagnosis can decrease stress and provide relief from anxiety, panic attacks, and paranoia.
"This was my first experience with acupuncture. I sought treatment because I have taken up tap dancing later in life and I want to keep my legs and feet as pain free and functional as possible. Yana is a compassionate professional who put me totally at ease. She explained what to expect, answered all my questions and checked in with me throughout our session to assess my comfort level. Yana conducted an initial assessment, and made suggestions related to nutrition and hydration. After my treatment I was surprised and how relaxed I felt as well as how the pain in my knee had been significantly reduced. I will continue to see Yana for treatment periodically, and have recommended her services to several of my dancing friends. She is a wonderful and talented addition to the alternative medical community of Washington County."
